And then there was the ?bleed? mic. When we were doing a rough vocal we noticed that Tom?s vocal mic was picking up some drums and giving it amazing sound overall. He was singing into the mic so we couldn?t use it, it would ruin it, so we put up another mic right near it. It was a SM58 or a 57, and...

Thanks guys for all the tips! Over the weekend I actually unearthed the manual that originally CAME with my specific multimeter, and that turned out to be the "rosetta stone" for me as it was relevant to the specific dial and inputs to that model. All worked out well and I now have my very first ful...

To check on you pre you touch the two points that are suppose to have flow with the probes, one on each point. If the MM beeps that means the conn...

In CD archetect, use the volume handles to raise or lower the volumes of the songs to make them all the same. It works best when you lower the volume of the loud ones to match the quieter ones. Hey Jay: I think what he's asking is if there's a way to get the RMS levels looking roughly the same from...

So, on Monday morning I've made an appointment to do some long-winded treasure hunting in the basement/attic of the Chicago store with a flashlight and stuff. Wanted to do that since I first saw the splendor of it last year. Craig says...
