Re: Amek 9098 EQ
I've recorded with the console a great deal and I have to say that I love those eq's. The preamps are nice and transparent... very clean Certainly do the job really well across a full range of instruments... i've used it a lot on female vocals and it seems to do the job really well. The eq is really...

NS-10 Power Amps
I have a pair of the much maligned (yet omnipresent) NS10's and I"m looking to upgrade my power amps for them. I know these things only sound "good" (and by that I mean detailed) when you over power the hell out of them... so I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for modestly priced high wa...

the opposite of a DI Box
OK I know this is a question i could probably figure out the answer to if I gave it enough thought and research... but here's what I'm trying to do. How can you send a phantom powered mic level signal out to some guitar effects boxes while also getting a clean signal to the console? I've got a violi...

Making Altiverb into an outboard effects device?
I don't know if this can be done or not, but I believe I heard it mentioned once in a review of Altiverb... Is it possible to use Digital Performer or Cubase or some other program as a shell for Altiverb so it can be used like a hardware reverb unit? That is, send an aux to the input of your recorde...
