old zildjian A's and new beats are hard to beat in price and performance.

I have a full set of hollow logo A's that once I set them up and "roll tape" they get used on every session

Re: Headphone Amp... Beat that!

This is my headphone amp. The doctor says my hearing may come back in a week or so.... I said, 'what?' Seriously, is there a better headphone amp then this? I hear Nigel Tufnel used them during the recording of the Spinal Tap soundtrack. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid217/p071b3c7f4d57725...

I recently got a sovtek mig 60 and am right in the middle of tracking a song with it. I am running it through a marshall 1960 slant cab with greenbacks, I think its sounds really good and very "marshall-ish" in fact I have a marshall 25/50 that sounds less marshally than it does. http://www.everybod...

Adjust to taste, season to risk :D

Generally I crank it until I see the speakers moving. Unless its a white noise rectifier metal deal they are more dependent on the pres and I dont have to get the cabinet involved as much.
