Re: Shocked
agreed, but i dont see why the palestinians have to pay for european/russian ethnic cleansing. i think it just obscures the issue. Yeah, we're going to do that "I agree with you, but . . ." thing here. I don't think it obscures, it's just a very real part of the equation that gets ignored. Amazing ...

source: what carries more weight in my opinion is to look at the recent history. and recent history looks pretty bad on balance for israel. Yeah, because that whole Holocaust thing just can't be seen as recent history, can it. Viewing Zionism and the establishment of an Israeli state without taking...

Besides that, have you ever read Paul? :D I'm leading a year-long study of Acts and the Epistles (no kidding) so yeah, I know just a bit about Paul and no, I'm not a fundamentalist. That being said, this is an even worse place to argue religion than gay marriage. If you want to find a good place to...

Did your rights just get changed because of a joke? Big Problem: No sense of humor. That'l work,,NOT! I'll regret this, but . . . Most of what's here is usually funnier than a good Monty Python festival. I really had no idea you were actually trying to make a joke. It merely came off mean spirited....

What a ridiculous place to argue an issue like this. Show of hands - anyone working for a major or minor political campaign, community advocacy group, Amnesty International, People for the American Way or Focus on the Family? If so, good for you -party on somewhere it'll matter. I guarantee you the ...

"Life's Good" - Lou Reed Had a good friend (a very good person) die of cancer not long after that song came out, followed by my wife's best friend rather cruelly offing himself. Somehow this song's lyrics helped us make some kind of sense out of what seemed at the time like a senseless situation. I ...

And he bought it because I droned on for such a long time about these babies. Seriously - I've had a bunch of direct box/modellers and this is the first one that didn't have have that tinny little sound that the PODs, Amplitube, etc. imparted to my beloved Strat (or even my much abused Danelectro). ...

How could someone actually bring themselves to chant "four more years!" at a Bush rally? Who does that? Spend a weekend in Las Vegas some time - I swear, when the American Fourth Reich co...
