Re: Does this sound strange to you guys? (signal problem)

Hey I have a 58 and even moving it 5 feet I can lose signal on some tracks. The Audio cards dont sit that firmly. carefully push on all the cards and make sure they are in there and making contact..you may have to pull them out to get some leverage on them and push them back in slowly... If that doe...

Re: motu 2408 mki - opinions?

Hey
remember that you cant plug your deck right into the motu rca's unless every track you recorded on it is at 0db or less which is very unlikely.
get the mk2 you will be compatable with 24 bit sessions if the need arises

Re: motu 2408 mki - opinions?

I would not get the 2408 mk 1
it is only 16 bit and has -10 rca inputs
you should get a used mk2. it will blow the mk1 away... balanced in/outs and 24 bit

Re: Quiet Air Conditioner for Summer Recording

Hey
The good Sharp units have 2 motors that cancel each other out a bit..
they seem to be pretty quiet as far as window units go

Re: C1 on vocals

I have a C1 and use it on vocals with some singers...it can get a bit sibilant.
My 414buls and soundelux u195 get lots of use also....but it is cool that the C1 can hold it's own with mics that are 4x the cost
I like the C1 on acoustic gtr and bass cabs too
