I wonder if something like this would do-it's only got two inputs but for my purposes....I'm just a songwriter who sings and plays a MIDI keyboard so I'll prob be recording one channel at a time-if thats Ok with you guys...lmao!!

So I guess I'll be ditching it or selling it.
I also wish there was a songwriting section cause thats my forte and I could contribute something instead of asking dumb questions all the time.

ahhh-I bet george martin never had dumb questions like these,
somebody should comission him to write a recording encyclopedia.
Ive never seen anybody capture low frequencies like this fellow.

Do you mean, can you squash it and raise the level to commercial standards with the plugins available for a DAW? Yeah, you can do that. thanks to all for the info so far. I never intended for that PC to hook up to the internet at all because of the probs you guys mentioned. What I didnt expect was this: Oh yeah, and you will need a separate hard drive dedicated just to recording audio. It's bad news to record onto your system drive....

Ive heard macs are better for this and they probably are from what Ive seen but all my experiences have been with PC'S so I guess I should stay there.I want to be able to record,mix and master.
