Final Q's though, 1. If I decide to go without the bonus tracks and keep only what's been pressed before, then I can press directly from a CD image of the original CD and not have to re-master these originally pressed CD's, correct? 2. Is there a reliable way for me to package this unreleased one i...

Re: CD burner wont take CDs. Not 1X???
I have a marantz CD 630 that over the years has gotten more and more fussy about the CDs it eats. Now it wont take any. I used to run TDK 10 packs in the 1990s and then slowly I began to have one or two rejects in a box OPCFAIL!!! Then on to the Mitsui Gold CDs. Now it wont eat them. I used an OLD ...

Well, officially it doesn't, but it can be done easily. You have to trick itunes into thinking it's an quicktime movie file.Hallogallo wrote:When did iTunes start supprting FLAC?

I would just pull them all in as waves. Hard drives aren't that expensive these days. You can get a terabyte for around $100. I'm almost sure that itunes now supports flac and that they can play on ipod/pad as well. You could also batch convert your wave files to Flac down the road should you choose...

You would just bounce out your wave file and name it. There's really no other data that can be input on a single wave file set for digital distribution. Edit: The cd text and isrc info is written to and read from the table of contents (TOC) of the physical disc. This info will not transfer with the ...

The song you mention, the re-mastered version of "Come Together" by some accounts is pretty conservative in level compared to some of the stuff out there. You just have to stay true to what you think serves your music the best. There are indy and main stream artist who's releases are kept at reasona...

Re: Stereo Parametric EQ -- linkable
Whats available old or new ----- looking for a rack /parametric /linkable to stereo unit, for pseudo- mastering. The early Ashly/Furman /Orban / etc / all seem affordable -- just not linkable ?? Too many problems with separate controls with phasing & exact Eq notching :: for each channel > down to ...

ISRC codes are traditionally generated and logged by the label, the only place you can put one is in a red book CD subcode. You can also tag mp3's and any digital file that supports id3.ie. Mp3, Mp4, M4a, Wma, Flac and Ogg. For some digital distributors' Ie. ITunes, CD Baby, Nimbit, Tuncore the cli...

Re: How does one embed ISRC to WAV?
are ISRC codes absolutely necessary? is there any other way to make sure the titles and info of my record's songs will come up on other computers? Having isrc codes embedded on you cd is not imperative but is beneficial if you are planning on selling a lot of physical copies. Here are instructions ...
