4 input Marshall master volume options...
Anyone have experience with the different options for a master volume on a four input Marshall? I'm definitely gonna do this, but am not sure if I should go with the one which has a 1 meg pot between the treble pot output and the coupling cap going to the first triode of the phase inverter, or the P...

This is a good question. I will say, I've been living with it for about a year at the place I'm in now. I often have a full band with PA and a couple power strips worth of studio gear running and have had no problems, and no noticeable ground hum or anything like that. I do run everything through a ...

I'm gonna have to do this too eventually, although all I have to do it switch my firewire cable and the outputs to my monitors and headphone amp to the 'a' unit since it's already on top. Do you have your two 400f's right on top of each other in the rack? Just wondering, I have mine spaced, but woul...

The only thing I can think that you might try is to switch a few things around and make your Onyx 400f-a your main unit and your 400f the secondary. It is annoying how Mackie did it. I have the same thing on my inputs. The ones from my slave come first. I was gonna try this but haven't because I've ...

Sabian 16" AAX Dark Crash
Asking $100. This is pretty heavily used. I've had it for about 3 years and it's got stick marks and grime on it, but absolutely no cracks or keyholes. It's brilliant and would probably clean up nice. I've never cleaned it though. It will probably last a lifetime if hit correctly. I bought it as the...

My guess is you need to up your buffer latency when doing overdubs and the clicks will disappear. I don't think it is a clock issue; it is an issue with your computer not being able to keep up with all the data. +1 I had this problem some years ago with my delta 1010lt when I first started using it...

Can stop listening to these guys. All I have is their two latest, but damn. I love the sound of 'adult situations.' It sounds like a couple of les pauls a bass and a beat up drum set rocking in a jam room or something. In Tongues, the newest one sounds awesome as well. Similar feel, but different so...

I had a K Special Dry Ride for about 3 years and it was a great ride. It had actually one of the best ping sounds I've ever heard. The only reason I got rid of it was because I joined a three piece metal band and that ride had barely any wash to it. I really really wish I still had it though, the be...
