I need a footswitch for an ampeg VL 503. I think it might be designated "afp-5". Does anyone have any leads? e-bay has been a consistent washout and the ampeg site isnt very helpful.

Full compass has 'em but not set up to listen too. They gave me some story about how they have to specifically request demo models, blah,blah,blah... Allegedly they will call me when this happens if I dont buy they first.

I am thinking about pulling the trigger on some some of the cheaper powered Events but would love some feedback before I do. Not many places to test monitors in Madison let alone side by side so ultimately I am kinda reliant on other's say so. Thanks.-L-

Has anyone tried the evnt ps6's or the tr6's. It looks like they can be had relatively affordably if you look around.

I hadn't thought seriously about doing the monitor/amp combo cause I just assumed it would be more expesive overall, but the component upgrade aspect is a good one. I guess nothings really written in stone. -L-
