might just be the power transformer in your RA100 that's a little loose. Maybe if it's attached with bolts you could try tightening it down and that might stop the hum. I had that problem with my furman HDS6 headphone amp and it turned out the transformer was just a little loose causing it to vibrat...

it's funny one of my friends runs a studio in town (Memphis) that apparently was originally built for Stax after their main studio went under. With the studio he inherited an MCI console and 24 track, and some of the mics he got included a U67 and a RCA 77dx...

oh man i love this thing.. I sold mine unfortunately a couple of years ago on ebay. Btw this is a steal, they are pretty rare and I sold mine for around $700! I wish I had the dough...

Any info about this yet? Aside from the short description on Avenson's website I haven't heard of any reviews or anything... looks pretty cool though, right now I'm using a presonus hp4 since my console doesn't have a built in headphone amp and the hp4 doesn't take up much space. I'd love to upgrade...
