Re: Embedding RIFF tag info in wav files / Sirius XM upload guidelines?
More likely I'd just overdub some killer riffs.

Re: Embedding RIFF tag info in wav files / Sirius XM upload guidelines?
I don't even know what RIFF tags are, but if you just need the ISRCs and barcodes added into the metadata of the wavs, I can do that for you in Wavelab in like 2 seconds. I'm around all day today, just PM me if this would be helpful.

Boring suggestion, but the plain old Boss trem is pretty dang good.

Re: Amp Closet Soundproofing in 3rd Floor Attic
I don’t know if you’ve tried a solution like this, but I gave up on the idea of a cab in the house…I plug my amps into a Two Notes Torpedo Live and record direct. Best of both worlds, imho. I use the UA OX (similar product) and I'm super happy with the results. +2. I have my amps on Bugera power so...

Re: What amp are folks putting behind NS-10Ms?
I used to use a Rotel RB1080, worked totally great, no problems ever. If it wasn't currently powering our living room stereo I'd sell it to you cheap, but you can find them on reverb for well under 1k.

Re: Latest gear you've acquired.....
I have a hard time playing lead lines without one in my hand. That's how I feel about the JM trem, I have it in my hand even if I'm barely using it. My experience with Bigsbys is really limited but I feel like every one I've encountered, I could never actually get the bar in a position where I coul...

Re: Latest gear you've acquired.....
It's just the action of the bar, the way it bends the notes, the way it sits in your hand. You can't do dive bombs on it, it doesn't have that much travel, but that makes it great for doing subtle stuff, gentle vibrato on chords, that sort of thing. And of course, the now-classic Kevin Shields style...

Re: Latest gear you've acquired.....
standard 2 point trem if they must have a wiggle stick. I agree that the stock JM bridge is useless garbage, but the trem is a thing of sublime beauty, no one's gonna put a regular 2 pt trem on a Jag or Jazzmaster. Ok FINE, someone will, there's people who'll put a Floyd on a 335, but generally if ...

Re: Where to sell my album
I think you'd have to re-register with bandcamp as a 'label' to get all your stuff on one page. I dunno if they charge extra for that.

Re: anyone working at 96k?
so what are your thoughts on plugin processing? it seems that the aliasing can be affected (reduced?) but I also understand that this varies greatly from plugin to plugin and many plugins restrict or filter the bandwidth anyway (and I for sure can't hear 24KHz...) I know some ME's upsample everythi...

Re: anyone working at 96k?
More detail is better, but (assuming good converters) the <24k part of the signal is gonna be the same at 48 as it is at 96 (leaving aside the anti-alias filter at Nyquist). I.E you have the same amount of pixels representing the part of the signal we can hear. I had one mix come in at 192. Looked a...

Re: anyone working at 96k?
Back in the mid 00s I was all about 88.2, did a few records that way. Then I did a few at 44.1. I didn't feel either was any better than the other and I've just stuck with 44.1 for all my own stuff ever since, no complaints. I think a built-in low pass filter at 22.05k is a feature not a bug, there'...
