From what i understand, its best to keep legs as short as possible
Otherwise there is more resistance, i think?

sorry the scum My current hunch is that when the strips were revised, resistor values in the preamp were swizzled to drop the noise...or that the added metal film resistors really are important. i have gathered and tried so much info that i have overlooked your recommendation sorry for not seeming g...

Use the standard 2xpi/rc formulas to determine the -3 db roll-off points.

Bypassing insert and direct out

Hi
I never use the insert or direct outs on my board so i just want to bypass those circuits
Is there anything I need to be aware of or tips for bypassing the elctronics

Hi, the latest
Ive replaced all TL072, All transitors and the diodes
Re-soldered every connection
And guess what?
Still noise
Anymore ideas
