treble switch on KRK V8

I am working on a set of KRKs. I fixed tweeter amp section, now moving onto the rest of the broken stuff - the switch. The switch is a C&K 7211. narrowing it down at mouser, there are three possible switches. http://www.mouser.com/CK-Components/Electromechanical/Switches/Toggle-Switches/_/N-5g2jZ1z0...

No mid bass bump and no midrange recession. It is acknowledged by Axiom staff on their forums. The M3 is considered a superior standalone speaker due to higher output capability and slightly superior bass extension, however the M2v2 has a more even low end and a more neutral midrange. The M2V2 uses ...

I am still using this amp today to power a 3.5 ohm set of speakers that go down to 27 hz with no rolloff, that are 85 dB/1 watt/1 meter, and it works fine, super low dc offset at crazy high output, and lots of crazy high output.

The M2i takes an evasive approach to low end. Instead of trying to produce it and failing, it doesn't try to at all. I would go for at least the M22v2 unless you were going for a sub in addition to it. Even the M22v2 is somewhat bass deficient compared to other monitors, but it is totally worth it f...

How do you work it on the blackberry? Where I am now there are 13 rooms in total, and some of those get rented out for hourly rehearsal and time shares and I have no idea how to get into the different calendars. Everything I download shows up on one calendar on my phone, and everything I add to my p...

Considering the total lack of direction, or polished production & recording technique present here, I think he has more potential as a rock & roll vocalist than those who ruin a lot of the bands I like when the singer isn't singing. :(

Which 414s do you like and which do you not? Do you like all

I was using a 414 the other night, the B-ULS. I was unimpressed. I was recording a friend in a then-empty room at the studio. We couldn't decide if it was the mic that had some very undesireable qualities, or if it were being really honest about the auralex-padded-closet he was rapping in. The newer...

A confession. I am indeed going to hell for my actions in this scenario. Horror Story: I had one intern who seemed fine, if not a little socially awkward. One day, after he had left for the day (we run 2 shifts per day, one intern per shift), the client told me that he had seen the intern copy some ...

If this session isn't music you think will advance you to superstar engineer status by association, bail. The problem exists with the beginning. Relationships need clarity. If I start a relationship where I fix something for free everyday for a place, they have the right to feel slighted when I ask ...
