I'd be a member of that club. I love Jesus and lose my lunch every time George Bush opens his mouth. I know we're supposed to pray for our enemies, but that one is just difficult for me.
Anyways, we're out here.

Re: FOX News Inaugural Clip
do you think its just fear? or ego (afraid to admit being wrong. maybe just plain ol stupidity and ignorance maybe a combination of all? I think they think they are smarter than liberals. Like they have reached a higher state of enlightenment because it is clear to them that old growth forests are ...

Re: FOX News Inaugural Clip
through my experience, i found that no matter how much proof or logic you provide about anything to these rednecks......its futile. What is interesting to me is the allegiance they all feel for Bush. I mean, when Clinton was in office I thought he was a slut from the beginning. Not for the Monica t...

Re: FOX News Inaugural Clip
I support the war in Iraq, and I don't have blood on my hands either. PC Maybe we should talk again when the American body count goes over the number of victims from 9/11? Lord knows the Iraqi count is well over at this point. Don't even get me started on stuff like this: I respect your opinion reg...

Re: FOX News Inaugural Clip
I don't see how toning down an inauguration would in any way show any respect to soldiers in Iraq. Really? I mean, really? I understand that a lot of times we can argue positions we don't really believe in just to be contrary. Heck, I do it all the time. But do you really not think spending, say $2...

Re: FOX News Inaugural Clip
You appear to be defending the Bush's spending of $40 million for the inauguration. I would think it would bother any supporter of the troops that they are willing to drop this kind of coin on the parties, while making excuses for the lack of proper armor. But, maybe not. The proceeds from the parti...

The woman speaks too much truth for FOX, so they need to cut her off quick. Geez.

Re: Flaming Lips Photo Book
I saw the show at the Chicago Theatre, and I thought Beck just ruined the Flaming Lips (and I'm a fan). That was probably the 3rd time I had seen them open their set with "Two Scientists are Racing". Very boring at that point. The open-heart surgery footage? Boring. Even the bunnies seemed like a bo...

Re: The sopranos
I liked the sopranos, but I don't have HBO so it's been like two years since I've seen a fresh episode. When the fuck is the fifth season coming out on DVD. Last I can recall, Tony and the wife were ... oops ... better not spoil it. My wife and I just finished the first season of The Wire. Excellent...

Re: new ibook or used powerbook?
this is a really good question, and one that I am struggling with right now. I am kind of digging the 12" Ibooks (w/combo drive). I dig the compactness of the computer. Those 14 inchers and (god forbid!) 17 inchers are just too bulky. The 12s are nice.

How important is the bus?
So I know this has probably been covered, but the search engine returns some ungodly amount of responses for "bus" so I thought I'd ask. When buying a new computer, how important is the bus speed. The laptops never seem to get above 200mhz, whereas the desktops seem to start at like 600 mhz. Is this...

I like this site a lot, mainly because the art is cool. And the Sufjan just makes me happy.
Nice use of the navigation buttons - they force you to see parts of the art you might not normally see.

Re: Anyone doing/done studio construction?
You know, the double sliding glass door idea sounds really good to me right now. I was just stressing over how to afford a good window, and getting bummed that I might need to have like a 2x3 foot window or something, just so I can afford 5/8 inch glass on one side. The double sliding glass doors so...

Re: Anyone doing/done studio construction?
Trodden - how is the sliding glass door working out as a sound barrier? It sounds like you need more resistance, do you think the door could be the problem?
Seventh Wave - nice website! your studio looks great! what was the sill seal that you used underneath the 2x6's?
