This has probably been asked a billion times, but what's the quickest way to flip phase in PT? I imagine there's some kinda plug with an onscreen "switch" or something?

...I don't consider running an Audiosuite processor "quick."

I have the mbox and I have to set the DAE buffer to "0" whenever I bounce. That solved the problem you described permanently.

I too have only one computer at home. I run anti-virus and it is on my DSL connection all the time. It's never been a problem for me. However, I don't run PT, I run Sonar.
