I'm bumping this one up. I, too, saw the ad. I never heard the thing though. I just as curious.

I'm probably the least experienced here, but the low end might need a little more definition. Not much, just a hair. I like the song.

Re: Walter Sear makes me cry

Most everything has already been said about this interview. Personally, I thought is was one of the better interviews that I've read in awhile.

The last paragraph of the article sums it up best. For me, I think I got the gist of it all.

Re: When is the next ridiculously cheap GC microphone deal?

Weak. I don't want the regular "slashed" prices, I want the *absurd* prices. I want a deal that *makes no sense*!! I want a $10 Rode NT-1, and I want it now! I also want a $10 snare drum and some cymbals! When are they going to bundle a drum kit and a microphone for $20? I'm with you on that brothe...

Neu!

I know I'm a little slow with things, but a friend of mine brought over some of this band's music. I thought it was awesome. I can't believe this stuff was coming out in the early 70's. I love finding the origins of some of today's music. Does anybody have any info on them? God bless those Germans.

Re: Best Ebay auction ever.......

hmmmm.....

maybe the buyer was a little slow?
maybe the buyer might have been slighty, mentally retarded?
maybe the buyer tends to trust people more than others?

does that still make it ok for the seller?

lying is lying.

Re: Pixies, the DVD

There's very few bands that I'd consider myself to be a "fanatic" about. The Pixies is one of them. In my oh-so-humble opinion, they never wrote a bad song. I broke out Trompe le Monde the other day, and had the best time singing along to it in my car. I forgot how great the album is. Like the post ...
