don't put them on floor tom unless you have some form of isolation from the rest of the kit.
These have a fairly wide pattern with not that much rear rejection.

I've got a pair of 2020s and I don't have much use for them anymore. My biggest complaint about them is the noise floor, combined with my stock 002r they're unusable without ridiculous amounts of cleanup . I've since got a pair of 3035s and it's a huge improvement. I actually snagged them for less t...

yep, works fine with most plugins, some don't work at all. It's well worth the price. [edit] Price is $99 usually, if you're a Mellowmuse customer you get it for $49 I got the delay compensation plugin for $29 and VST to RTAS adapter for $49, that deal isn't available anymore because ATA is now $49.

Sounds like you still have the All group active.
if not, close and reopen the session and try again.

ctrl+shift+G (command+shift+G on Mac) to suspend groups.

I'd go with an E-Mu 0404. http://revolutionaudio.ca/store/product_info.php?cPath=28_61&products_id=309 USB 2.0 so low latency, better preamps and converters than most others out there. E-Mu stuff comes with a big software package too. ps. Get the guy to record the MIDI out of the kit too! No reason ...

I'm going through this right now. Questionable tracking techniques and decisions. 40 million things in the background to sift through and somehow fit it the mix correctly. A whole record of mid range heavy instruments like banjo, violin, acoustic gtr, ect., and a bandleader who doesn't like to hear...

Digitranslator does work with M-Powered, but it's a moot point because OMF is the stupid way.

I'm using the BF76 a lot less these days.
I do sometimes like to crush things with it, threshold fully clockwise (or nearly), fastest attack and release and 20:1 ratio adjust output to sit around -6 on the track meter.

Smack! is my default compressor. Sounds better on more things.
