What can you guys say about S8M Montors?
I just bought them on ebay; do you think I'll get my money's worth if I paid $102.01 including $25.00 shipping fee.
Does anyone know the specs on these speakers, because now I need to find a power amp to go along with it.

Re: Recording Drums on a Motu 828 or 828MKII
With using a mixer being said what mixer brand and model should I look for. I must be reading the specs wrong or something because I can't find a mixer with line outs on each channel. Most just say they have ins. The yamaha MG series has I/O on each channel. Is that what I should be looking for or i...

Re: Ram and Virtual Memory
Is upgrading your processor possible or do I need to buy a totally different computer like a G4 or in a perfect world G5.
If upgrading how fast should upgrade too.

Ram and Virtual Memory
I just bought a Mac G3 300MGHz with 224MB of ram. I was wondering what type of ram I need to buy to upgrade. I was thinking of getting a Gig of ram. Would this help make my computer faster? I have DSL and it doesn't seem as fast as it should be.
Also I was wondering what virtual Memory is?

Behringer Mixers
What do you guys think about behringer mixers. Are they as bad as everyone says they are? Does anyone on the boards own a mixer made by behringer and if so what do you like or dislike about it?

Re: Recording Drums on a Motu 828 or 828MKII
I'm sorry I don't think I was clear on what I meant. The 828 has two XLR inputs. How would I go about recording with two extra mics along with the ones already in the XLR inputs. -I know rachmountable mic preamps are an option. -Transformers or direct boxes are another -I was thinking would going th...

Recording Drums on a Motu 828 or 828MKII
I'm trying to get a DAW going and I have been looking into getting the Motu 828 or the MKII. I was wondering what are some of my options for recording a drumkit with at least 4 mics. I have some ideas, and I'm hoping you guys have more. Anything will help.
