Re: Explain your User Name
Mine came from the frustration of trying to create an email account. As the page that says I need to choose another name came up I reached into my pocket and grabbed a guitar pick. With Dunlop orange pics being my favorite pick, I took Tortex and Dunlop and got texlop. I was desperate, but the good ...

Re: recording death metal band tonite.....need advice
Death metal isn't my passion I go more fore hardcore Norma Jean stuff that has a different melodic vibe than your fast a million notes a second type stuff. Hopesfall is also very pleasant to listen to.

Thanks a lot now that clown image will forever be burned in my brain. Long nights of endless sleep are to come from this.
Just a thought, you should come up with pictures in the atari style figues, the videos, and the album covers. All those would make nice shirts.

I guess you could see it the other way around aswell. How can you support stem cell research and not the death penalty. I think it is because those who get sentenced to death deserve it and an unborn child is innocent.

Hey almighty where can I buy a shrine of you so I can piss on it after having produced my almighty record in my behringer studio using nady dynamic mics. I spit on your shrine. Nothing beats a behringer with a nady. Muahahahaha

I dropped out of school because of this board, now I'm living in card board box on the streets of a big city with only a shure sm57 and a wireless laptop that keeps me connected to you guys. I haven't showered in months let alone shaved in a year, not that I need shave anyways. This board has change...

Good news for those who suffer tinnitus and deafness!
At a lecture at my school last night I learned that Stem Cell Researchers are trying to find ways to fix damaged Hair Cells in the Cochlea. They are trying to figure out a way to send a signal to a stem cell so that it can start producing more new cells and replenish the old damaged hair cells, curi...

Re: What are tapeop engineers driving?
I like the older bikes, the geometry at least. I dig "newer" (twitchier) geometry, but it's pretty hard to find with the cushy ride of lugged steel. I'm very happy I found that Davidson, sketchy paint and all. I think new bikes suck because new components suck. I could give a rat's ass about "integ...

Re: instrument cable as speaker cable!
I know it is wrong to use an instrument cable in place of speaker cable, and I preach it to all the folks I play with. but, I don't feel I have the a good technical understanding of why... tell me so I can continue to tell others... I felt the same way. Some guy at my local guitar shop said not to ...

I saw their performance, I have to say I liked them. That yelling thing is pretty cool when it is complemented by the high pitched maracas guy. The drummer was cool he was just chilling whith his headphones.

Re: RIP O.D.B.
This might sound a little selfish and inconsiderate, but what happens to the engineer that witnessed this. Does he still get paid for the time he spent with O.D.B.? Also it would be some history to tell people ODB died while rapping into that mic your using. Crazy.
