FS: OktavaMod MK-219 PE

$385 with free ship.

Less than one year old and used only for one project. Includes original box, zipper storage bag, and shock mount. A very nice mic with no damage or blemish.

I currently own 2 but need extra cash to help buy daughter a new (expensive!) violin.

Mine is refunded as well. A lot of work for Victor and some anxiety for us all. I had contacted PayPal customer service several times and received pat FAQ type of answers which were of no help. When the evaluation forms for each PayPal contact came, I did the survey and gave negative ratings under a...

It sounds as if the answer might be 'yes'.

I was just wondering whether to have a bourbon or a beer?

Perhaps a Scotch would do, as it is my favorite. What might the frequency range of Scotch Whisky be?

..... I just looked at Norther Sound Source site and found talk about programming 3 different parts of each 'note' - attack, main body (looped often), and release. Is this the kind of info you're looking for?

Have you looked at the teakheadz site posted above? http://www.northernsounds.com/forum/index.php?&Itemid=28 might be a good forum for you to post in or check out. There are smart people over there who do this kind of thing for a living. The only samplers I have are VSampler and GigaStudio but I don...

If you've never recorded and programmed a sample library before then there's a very real possibility that a homegrown effort will not produce stellar results.

If one has the time and desire then DIY can certainly be a learning experience.... and it may even turn out nicely.

http://www.tweakheadz.com/Sampling_Tips.html is one link.

You might try typing 'creating samples' or 'creating audio samples' into Google. The above link is one of many I came up with by trying the first.

The Mixerman Diaries were an excellent and entertaining read. I foolishly lent it to my stepson instead of just buying him his own. He might have read it or he might have lost it.

Either way, it was enjoyable and I never even thought or cared whether it was truth or fiction. It's a good book.

The Jecklin Disk can produce similar effect but is still expensive. If you 'google' DIY Jecklyn Disc you can come up with how some have built their own. I made one out of 1/4 inch plexiglass and fake sheeps wool and have used it with STO-2s - kind of a fun thing to have around but I'm sure mine aren...
