Does the src in SawStudio differ from SawPro? SP is ok for listening, but not good enough for mastering...

I have yet to hear a software conversion that sounds better than going out and back in (resampling). Haven't tried voxnego...

Does anyone know of other good ones to try as well? (Mac or Windows)

If your level coming out of your preamp is low and you bring it up on the audio interface, you're going to have unecessary noise. Most mic pres open up the sound of your mic at certain settings.
