Re: Is anyone using a Word Clock with a Digi 002?
I'm wondering the same exact thing. I have a Lucid 9624 AD converter that I sometimes sync too, but it's not intended to be a clock, and the difference I hear is minimal.
Anyone else have any opinions?

Monitor Power Amp Question
I just picked up a pair of NS-10's (hiss... booo.... so what, they were cheap) and was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a power amp for them? Preferably one on the cheap side as well.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Modest Mouse Fans?
I'm glad to see there are other people on here who prefer The Lonesome Crowded West. I've been a fan for a while, and I have my problems with the new record (again, it can be very derivative), but Lonesome still kills me with every too-bright distorted high hat slam.

Re: miking a fender twin
Groove Tubes is just a company that imports tubes from what I believe to be all of the worlds remaining vacuum tube manufacturing plants. If it's a new Twin, I believe fender DOES use them as stock tubes. However, even if they are replacements they should not be causing the problem. Groove Tubes als...

Re: guitar center nyc
That is hard to believe. The prices in that vintage section usually make my head spin ($1400 for a silverface deluxe reverb?). It's good to hear though.

Re: where is there SPACE in NEw York for a Live/Work studio?
I can't help, but I can sympathize. I just moved back to the suburbs of Philadelphia after living in NYC for 5 years because i couldn't stand the fact that I couldn't find somewhere to work and live. On the upside the commute isn't too bad (1:45 on a good day) so I'm still in NYC 3-4 days a week. Th...

Not to mention that Adam is the man. It's not about the gear, it's how you use it.

Re: Boss DD-20 delay pedal
Though this reply is a little late, you CAN change the delay time in greater incriments than 1 bpm on the DD-20. You just have to hold down the button while you turn it. I'd also like to note that my headrush broke. again. Those things are pieces of crap. I think I'm going to get it fixed again and ...

Re: Keyboard sustain pedal question
When you purchase sustain pedals they're available in two formats. You need the other one. If you're at all tech savy you could probably open the pedal up and change it, but if not you can always go buy one of the other type.

Re: I'm thinking about going from pc to g5...i need suggesti
I can second the suggestion to get a G5. I moved up from a dual G4 to a G5 dual 1.8 and the difference is almost unbelievable. I work in PT LE so I was constantly running out of processing power because of native plugins, but I have yet to cause the G5 to even flinch at me. It has changed the way I ...

ADAM Monitors question
I've been looking into buying new monitors and I'm intrigued by the ADAM series, but i have a few questions. First off: Does anybody know anywhere near Philadelphia I could try out a pair? No one seems to carry them in stores, and I don't think I can bring myself to lay down that much money without ...

Re: Bayview Pro Audio and Cascade Mics/Pacific Pro Audio mic
I picked up a MX-33 and a MX-11 for an EXTREMELY resonable price a few years ago as my first set of condensers for my home studio. They were great then, but my ear has definately outgrown them. They still get a bit of use (I still don't have any other LDCs) but I have to be careful about when. They'...

Re: Ebay question
Odds are the italians aren't a scam. It's just that most people set their auctions to US/Canada only so good stuff only comes up for them every once in a while. I've actually ended up selling multiple used pieces of gear (pedals, amps, etc) to italy. It's been a pain every time.

Re: moving a piano
I noticed that recently too. I moved my whole studio from NYC to Philadelphia last week, and they were trying to run me $600+ for even the smallest truck, either one way or back and forth. Luckily my sister has a car with a hitch, so I borrowed it and got a in-town trailer. It only ended up costing ...
