Glad you liked the quote. :) As far as patching into a different spot, the place i patched into is really the best. there are three wires taht come from a plag that says "to main volume" There is a ground a common, and one signal wire the radio is mono.

Modding a radio

I recently hacked into the radio at work to put in an Aux. jack to plug in an mp3 player. Everything works, but I have to turn the volume way down on the mp3 player and then crank the radio for it to not distort. I understand that the output of the mp3 player is hotter than the output of the radio w...

I'm also looking for the same thing.

I was just going to use a laptop, and a MIDI controller, but I'm not sure if the computer is going to be able to handle the software without having to get some sort of external sound card.

I've done the same thing with good results. I had an old interface sitting around so I sent him that, and got him setup with the same software that I had. That way I was familiar with his gear, so when he had questions I could walk him through it. It took awhile but he was finally able to get a hand...

Grundig gbm 125

I just picked up a couple of these on Ebay today, for a good price. Has anyone on here used these for anything? What are some things they really shine on? Thanks for any info.

I think the sidebar with the different sections is cool, but maybe there's too much text. This is what I was getting at. I didn't even realize it was a listing studio stuff. I thought it was a Google ad. My wife was reading over my shoulder and commented on it, other wise I never would have given i...

one quick comment. The listings on the left hand side look like Google ads. I would maybe change the layout of that. Looks good otherwise. :)

I have a pair of the Vic Firths, that do a good job of isolation. Like the other posters stated, they don't have very good sound quality at all. I've had mine for around 6 years, and they take a lot of abuse, and still work great for what they are. I know I've tried the whole ear bud with muffs thin...
