Well, I was trying to see if my console psu was affecting the noise and I noticed I could almost totally kill the noise by standing on the right side of it. I haven't pulled the amps yet but I do have a scope. I might not be able to get to this for a day or two. If I do have big caps on the output, would you change those? I have tons of spare panasonics

That CRC contact cleaner has no lubricant in it, so it's great for cleaning. They have a lubricant too in a small can to use for things like that. That said I do use fader lube for all my faders...just trying to make sure I play it safe with that.

Home Depot has CRC contact cleaner. Comes in a big can about six times the size of the deoxit for about $10. Great stuff. Use it all the time. Don't buy the Lectraclean if they don't have the contact cleaner. Used tons of this stuff recapping my console. This and a toothbrush can clean the crap out ...

I'm pretty sure these do use switching power suppies and I thought that could be the case. What do you mean exactly by grounding the input? The input is balanced, but i don't think that's what you mean.
