i am trying to use some optigan samples i bought and they are all short - like 3 seconds long or so - how can you loop these (and not hear clicks) in KONTAKT or KOMPAKT??

i'll check. i can play them - they are just really short and i don't know how to make them loop.

i bought some optigan samples off a dude on this board which sound cool but i can't seem to figure out how to make em loop in kompakt so i haven't really used em at all. any tips?

i think their pre-release for the new record seems to suggest that it is heavily manipulated or something.... ?Some of these songs started as hummed melodies into my cell phone recorder while I was driving. Others were triggered by overheard conversations, loops brought in from home, field recording...

that is fantastic. what a treat to be a part of such a talented ensemble. i love the idea of a band of multi-instrumentalists. the combining and morphing of many personalities into one entity. the thing with their records is - in many ways they are so organic sounding for such a manipulated process....

this is what i don't get - isn't line ievel basically a volume level? can't you just turn down the outputs of whatever you are sending out to reamp?

i am wanting to expirement with reamping this year and i am wondering why i would need a REAMP since my tracks are in a DAW and i can just turn them down so as not to drive the amp too hard.... am i missing something here? i have never had a great grasp of impedance etc... also - if i do need to use...
