thanks for the info, umm... here mabey the problem, the cable iam looking at connects to the "joystick" port on any soundblaster soundcard. i have an intergrated soundcard that i have disabled because iam using my delta 4/10 as my main. ive never tried to use both at once, i should probably just do ...

i recently came across a "joystick to midi connector... and as i do not have midi connection on my soundcard. this might be what i need to midi-up my home studio... so my questions are as follows... is the connection quote-unquote good? will i have latency problems... whats the sampleing rate... ano...

the mic up to the bass itself will give some good string noise and mabey add to the distorted-ness sound you seem to be looking for...

i was wondering if there is a cheap way to insulate my guitar cables? when in plug into my acoustic/electric guitar. there is a hum, a loud one... but when i touch the metal around the cable the hum is almost gone, (does this mean they are not insulated) because thats what ive been told... the cable...
