No I think all the "real" Oktava's are Russian but there were some "fake" Chinese ones being sold sometime last year.
The MKs are made in Russia and I don't see the MCs being sold new anymore.
That's why I'm thinking the MKs are just the new version of the MCs..This is just a guess though????

Line 6 is hit and miss IMHO
the pod sucks-the pod xt live sucks but those big green and yellow delay and modulation pedals are some of the most kick ass pedals out there.
$200 for 2 ok mic pres that can give you some crazy flavor cant hurt you that badly
Try it out and let us know!!

OK ...I'll chime in with my 2cents

I just got a 602 and I love the shit out of it

I was using a 52 - D112 - or an audix - and the 602 is now my favorite(maybe because it's new???)

It just has a nice full tone(the 52 is my 2nd choice)

I agree with everything said...The patchbay will come after a few "choice" pieces in my rack.....I will need a bunch o' cables though. As far as rolling my own..........(drifts off for a sec.......~~) Is there a good place to buy quality cable "by the mile"???? and ends. Is it really worth the time?...
