Great. I'm such a clutz with the iron to begin with. Could I buy a connector with cabling already attached, with numbered leads, somewhere and just replace the connections on my bay? Easier?

I'm actually in the market for a TC M2000 which we could trade for if that's any option. (Or you could take 'em both for a3000).

for my new Apogee. Can I just buy one from a computer store, maybe even the Shack? I'm using existing cabling so I just need the male end-jack with solder connectioins. I'm sure somebody makes 'em in GOLD but... necessary?
