Well, after hearing so much about the Transformer-less SM57 mod, I decided to take apart my SM57 and try it. I took it all apart to find that there was no transformer inside at all. Fixed it. It was my Echo unit. I had some of the software mixer's monitoring inputs unmuted. Problem solved. You can lock this if you'd like.
