yes, this album sounds great. I think the Swedish generally make pretty good sounding records.. Refused, Cardigans, etc..

Love the bass and drum sound. Sounds like flatwounds on the bass?

Not a bad choice.. Of course with anything, hands on is where you learn most things, but this is a good "go to" book when you run into a wall...

I never use it in auto mode unless you want it to sound like blink 182... Graphical is the way to go. Again, it's hard to polish a turd, but I would rather tune a vocal that is passionate and little a little flat, rather than have a perfect take that lacks passion..

I have both and use to 602 full time. I haven't used a d112 in over a year now. The 602 is great on bass too.

you can solve your latancy issues by bouncing down the track with the drummagog pluging to another track, then stretch the veiw and manually slide over the bounced track to line the peaks and valleys up with the original. i used it on the kicks only on the latest album i'm working on. the last one ...

I just got this as well. I usually use sound replacer. The only thing I'm not quite getting is the latency in drumagog.. I can't seem to get rid of it. I like the way it works and could see myself using it instead of sound replacer if it weren't for this latency problem... Thoughts?

Mic Repair in Los Angeles?

I have an Audio Technica 4047 that's not working. Anyone know of a good place in or near the valley that repairs these? Thank you.

Recommendation for a CD printer?

I'm looking to get a printer in my studio that I can insert cd's into and print on them. Nothing too fancy, but I'd like something that looks better than writing on them with a sharpie :). Any recommendations?

Trident 4T or Chameleon 7602?

Looking to pick up one of these pre's in the next couple days here and wanted to see if anyone has tried.. I don't necessarily need compression that's on the 4T, but they are both in the same price range.. Thoughts?

John Westcott 818.761.4156

He does all guitar repairs in his converted garage. I've brought several guitars to him over the past 5 years and have never had a bad experience. Quick turnaround and fair prices. Most of all, great work!
