That is much less than an original pultec these days, and I am sure they are well made. I am glad people are making gear like this, for those that choose to use items like this. The 'rendered image' is just a saved rendering, in case you wanted to burn a bunch of copies. Just edit the playlist where the track lives, and skip thru til you find the audio file for the track(s), and delete those.

It also DOES put strain on the motor, esp. when you're at the top or bottom of the tape.. Couple that with the long long tape being more prone to stretching (warble), and it's best not to use long long tapes.
