Demux the frequency crossover and add Air to excite and invigorate. Careful on the routing, and go easy on the caffeine.

I've heard absolutely great stuff on a Kemper, and I've heard boring, nasal shit on a Kemper.

A tasteless player will be tasteless no matter what the equipment, and somebody with a cultured sound will coax it out of whatever he's using, be it digital, analog, expensive, cheap, old, or new.

This may be the first time I've ever read "Mackie" and "fragile" in a single sentence. It may sound weird or distorted, but it won't break the Mackie. Entire careers were sonically launched on completely overdriving Mackie inputs in the early/mid-nineties. Bj?rk's "Homogenic" album comes to mind (no...

We would like to record 6 songs. We have $200 give or take. Get at me!

Feel like getting at him with a big stick.
Obviously a transcription error.

That should read "$200 to give per take".

Bounce the mix, import it into a new project with the same BPM, and use flex time to increase the speed.

You can change the main output to any output pair you like in

Logic Pro ?> Preferences ?> Audio ?> I/O Assignments ?> Output

I can't help you with the routing at this moment because I'm out of the studio and Logic will only show 2 outputs right now.

RCA Studio B is featured in the fabulous book "Temples of Sound: Inside the Great Recording Studios". Even if the technical information may be a little scant (I can't recall how the chapter on RCA is, offhand), it's a fantastic read that you should own, regardless. :) http://www.amazon.com/Temples-S...

I think the D to A and the little amp in iphones/pods etc is just super sucky. There's not anything wrong (for the most part) with driving a cd/cassette etc level line in on a receiver with a headphone out. It's just the sound of the unit that bugs. Ken Rockwell begs to disagree. According to his m...

Sorry. Peter Piper is an 808. "It's Tricky" and "Walk this Way" are DMX/DX.

"Perfection" is a live drummer, compressed to hell. :)

If it's a "carbon copy" of DMC's Peter Piper, then yes, it's a DX or DMX. Raising Hell is all Oberheim.
