The ones from Lowes, yes, because the screw part is so big (if they're the ones I'm thinking of). For the string swing types, I'd say aim for a stud, but if you miss just use the wall anchors. I love the pedal, too. I go from it to my amp using the parallel output, record both, and blend. Throw a 9V in it, use phantom power when you think of it, and the battery will last several years.
