Cool. I had a cheap subscription to EQ and let it lapse a few months back, thinking it wasn't worth the full price ... maybe I should reconsider!

I love Jazzmasters. There were a couple things I thought could be improved upon, so I bought a body, neck, and parts from Warmoth guitars - high quality, American made. I put a traditional tremelo with a low-profile bridge in there, higher-output Seymour-Duncan Jazz pickups, one tone one volume, no...

It's nice to see an appreciation of this often maligned guitar. I have a Jag and would love to pick up a Jazz someday. I find that something about the shape and balance makes these things really comfortable to play. Maybe I'm lucky, but I don't understand the griping about the bridge/trem either. My...

It looks short to me, too. I had a similar bass -- the body was different, but I could swear that the neck was identical. Anyway, mine was 30" scale. Really fun to play. I hope you like it.

Very cool, especially if it's short scale! But still cool if not.

The ones from Lowes, yes, because the screw part is so big (if they're the ones I'm thinking of). For the string swing types, I'd say aim for a stud, but if you miss just use the wall anchors. As drumsound pointed out, they're included with the hook. I've hung things heavier than a guitar with good ...

There are all kinds of hangers available, for example:

A lot of retail stores use 'slatwall,' kind of like pegboard, but with grooves to accept accessory hangers.

We should do this ... it may be a lost cause, but who knows.

I have several Tascam products with terrible manuals, so this is a great loss.

I love the pedal, too. I go from it to my amp using the parallel output, record both, and blend. Throw a 9V in it, use phantom power when you think of it, and the battery will last several years. The only drawback to mine is that it's the old version, with the knobs inside the case. :^(. On the plus...

The I5 is very cool. It seems to capture a little more bass than my 57. I use it more on guitar amps, the 57 more on snare drums. I'd definitely recommend it.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I usually use a 57 or an Audix I5 in the front, with the other one in back (they're pretty similar). But I have an ATM25, so I'll try that. We seem to have a lot of the same gear!

And I never use DI, so that's worth a try, too.

Thanks again.
