what are you trying to connect to it with XLR? Audiofire 12 is balanced but will accept unbalanced 1/4" also. Don't use those adapters. They are for changing balanced to unbalanced. If you're trying to connect mics directly to Audiofire, it won't work as there are no pres. Thanks for the reply. Act...

So I just got myself an echo audiofire 12 and it looks like I'm gunna need some trs cables. I'm going to probably want a bunch of short trs cables, but for now could I just use a XLR to 1/4 adapter?
