I probably shouldn't even mention it, as i don't think he makes them any more, but the Line Audio 12 capsule 4 channel mic is very cool. It can does Blumlein very nicely.

Weird. I just loaded a couple plugins that have been real hogs lately and they only raised my cpu usage a few percent. I don't know what's going on.

The two-string Little Torpedoes are thin. You'll have no problem fitting them in on oud. But you'll need to use strings that will work well with electromagnetic pickups.
