I have a well cared for 003r that I would like to move. I have used the serial for the Pro Tools crossgrade and plan on keeping Pro Tools 9. The 003r comes with Pro Tools 8. If you want Pro Tools 9, you would have to buy it separately.

What if you uncheck the "Link Record and Play Faders" in the preferences and pull the fader down when record enabled? That should stop the signal from Pro Tools when its record enabled, and allow monitoring from the MOTU, correct? Its not a perfect fix, but maybe it would work? ...or am I getting th...

Anyone have an opinion on these boards? Is there a big difference between the LC and the non LC models?
