i eventually let both of mine go, even the good (older) one. it's just not worth the hassle. i hate advice that says something along the lines of "just dump it and get something else", but i think that totally applies here. nowadays there are many alternatives. no reason to be stuck with this pre. ...

I bought an old Gibson 125 TD from 1959, and I'm wondering what string gauge these guitars were built for. Does anyone know ? nice and interesting eqs, some have 70dbs pres (mine does). they have a nice sound and there's usually lots of room inside for improvement. i have the little 6 channel one and it's very interesting indeed. i wish i had the time/skill to recap the thing and do some mods.

tinyxp just happens to be one group's name for their XP releases. They're simply XP versions stripped with a program called nlite (vlite if you want to strip down Vista), and then the typical cracks for Windows authorizations and updates. You could roll your own and put the exact drivers for your c...

It's a replacement to your OS (XP, vista, whatever). You can either replace your existing OS with it or run it on another drive/partition and let it create a boot menu for you. cheers for the advice. running it from another partition would be ideal, but if there's something totally unpredictable, i...

the price was probably meant to be a little different, but they ran into a lot of trouble with the PSU (noisy, not reliable, etc), to the point where they thought about not putting it out anymore. they have sorted that thing out, but sadly, i think the effort reflects a bit too much on the price. i ...
