So say you have drums or vox on a seperate bus that feeds to you master (and master ultimately to your playback device... be it MBox, FirePod, Digi, whatever)... when you remove the master fader, do you just route the other busses to your playback (I assume yes)... I really want to see if the same h...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the inputs on the back are not affected by the gain knobs on the front for channels 1 & 2, are they? Unfortunately they are. Leaving them at zero will make sure not to add any gain within the FirePod avoiding any "color" (or lack of) the stock Firepod pres might add. ME...

I've only got 512M and the FirePod has never let me down... Sonar (on my machine) might bind up, but as long as your not running a bunch of ITB effects going into Logic or whatever (while tracking), you'll be gravy... I used to run mine on only 256M of RAM and still had no probs with the Pod itself....

I can't say I'm a giant "fan" of theirs, but I love this record and I definately bump into these guys at the lo...

www.mikeportnoy.com I think that's where it's still at... you can play his enitre purple monster kit via a neat flash thing... great for wasting a ton of time. There was also this site that someone posted on here a few months back that let you build basically an entire song online via a flash thingy...
