it might be a good idea to get a pre. I used a behringer for a while but decided to get a preamp instead of using that. I didnt get a really good pre or anything but its better than the behringer i had.

what kind of mixer do you got. It will prolly be worth it to get a decent preamp. What kind of music do you record, im just curious.
