Try using your busses when you do a bounce, it sounds alot better.
Are you talking about the same thing as Spindrift? You're not just saying to group instruments with the busses before bouncing are you? If so, I already use busses on drums, parallel compression, and guitars.

One way around this is to set your outputs to a bus instead of the main outs and then record that bus onto a stereo track. I don't really see what the difference is bouncing from the stereo outs or recording off a bus other than bypassing the file conversion at the end of the bounce. I have the con...

Are you next to a big tranformer outside? You could have a bad ground on all your power. I'd maybe call the power company or an electrician and have them check it out. When you add gain in your setup, like a distortion pedal, it is going to make the buzz louder but it shouldn't be close to the level...

What is soundcheck? Is that the option that normalizes the songs as you listen to them? I didn't check that, but I know I don't have any eq on itunes either. I will try more monitoring combinations- I just wanted to make sure where the sound was changing, cause I know I always like playback on my mo...

And, by the way, I'm not talking about listening to a converted mp3. I'm listening to the wave file in Itunes.

Mix in protools sounds different than bounced stereo track.

So usually when I mix a track down I will burn it to a cd and listen to it in my car or some boombox. Instead, I tried listening to it on my headphones coming out of the protools interface, then bounced it down and pluged the same headphones into my mac's headphone out and listened to the track in I...

A resistor load or capacitor on the scope probe or the function generator? Your scope probe should already have an internal resistance of 1meg ohm/ 10 meg ohm so you don't have to use a resistor. As far as using a capacitor, that is there to block any DC voltage that might come from your function ge...

Do you have an oscilloscope or are you just listening with this crystal earpiece? Can you hear noise on the base of the first transistor? Or anything at all there? So you have two channel strips that are fine but the rest have a noise that appears to begin at the collector of that first transistor? ...

You live in the states right? All 120 lines are single phase. 220 lines are usually two phase but is some special cases, like buisnesses they have 3 phase 220. You would have to have a special line from the transformer to you house to have three phase power.

Are you taking into effect there may be different tubes in the british version? Probably better tubes? Also, I'm not sure about this one, but I think their 50Hz power is three phase and that is a lot easier to rectify and filter than single phase 60Hz. If that is the case the amps are getting better...

I could try that. I thought the di in on those was only TS. It's a mono input. It might provide extra shielding I guess.

It is unbalanced and plugged into a mixer. The noise is not coming from the mixer and I tried moving the interface as far away from the computer as possible so it's definately something generated inside the Mbox. So no one has run into this I take it? All I can do is enable the pad and boost the sig...
