i'm seeing quite a bit of love for these URS eqs. Which ones do you like, they seem to have a few.
Why do you like them so much as opposed to the Renaissance or Focusrite eq plugs?

I just had to deal with this today. My old computer died unexpectedly and I just got my new computer and I've been spending the last few days installing software. If your Waves is legit you should be able to download the PT 7 version, however if you want the new stuff that was not in the original bu...

Midas is to live engineering as Neve is to recording. The Venice is a decent console but its also the least expensive by about $15000 to the next model up. Although its not designed to be a recording console I am sure you could get some favorable results. I have done some 2 track recordings off the ...

You probably did the right thing by getting your own monitor. How did it work out? Monitor engineers need some direction from the musicians because even if they are monitoring a specific mix they are not in the same relation to the other instruments onstage therefore they can only assume to a point....

Its fairly common to use a sub-mixer for all keys and then just send one signal (or stereo) to the PA system. However your post is not clear as to why he was having monitor problems in the first place. Could it be that his patches all have different volumes? This can cause havoc on sound engineers u...

I just picked up the Sennheiser 280. The isolation is phenomenal. I just listened to a few mixes in them. I'm not sure if its a boost in the hi-mids but they seemed a bit more detailed than my old 7506's. Quite comfy too! Thanks to everyone for the input - this messageboard is such a great resource.

Headphone Recommendations
I seem to remember someone giving the thumbs up to a pair of AudioTechnica headphones. I did a search and could not find anything.
I've used Sony 7506's for years and was thinking about trying something else.
Any opinions out there?
Thanks.
