Thanks for the reply!! I appreciate your help. This is a later Mark I, not the Fender Rhodes, it's just a Rhodes and based on the website you sent me, it does sound sorta different . Also, I guess these do not have trem in them. It's only 425 and it looks to be in really nice shape and has been well...

Pros and Cons of a Rhodes Mark I

I have a chance to pick up a Rhodes Mark I from the early 70s. I know it rocks, but is there anything I should look for when I go test it out? How about some pros and cons of one of these? Is it too "Steely Dan" sounding or anything? I would use it mostly for studio work.

I might be willing to split them, but I really would rather not and keep them together. Are you interested in the whole thing?

I have the latency down to about 40ms with a rare occurrence of artifact which is pretty great, but still not awesome. I will definitely try quitting everything and see where that leads me. Thanks!

fighting latency!!

I have the Native Intruments B4 and I love it for studio use via MIDI, but I want to use it as part of my mobile rig and play organ live using the B4's sounds, but it is just plain LATENT and I can't show up at a jam and play everything a half second behind. Thoughts? I'm just running it through my ...

I like the stereo mixes because they are fun to pick apart. On Revolver, you can pan to one side or the other and hear 2 of the 4 tracks. For example, on Taxman, you can hear some pretty abrupt punching in to get backing vocals, percussion and lead guitar on one track. However, the left speaker wen...

SERVICE: I record drums long distance

Cross post from hookups: So does anyone need any drums on their record or project? I can record it here and I have good gear and good drums and I play well to a click and if it's in a style that I can rock, I will most likely do it for nothing. What? Nothing? Nothing. Bring on your singer songwriter...
