question
If I throw some of my own lyrics and music in the mix, can I call the project a collaboration between me and the other composer and just pay half?

And what exactly is it?[/i]ampguy wrote:was previously owned by the late Cesar Diaz tech.
Problem is, the motor needs repair/replacing. It works, but the motor bearings are a bit noisy.

limelight?
So I'm thinking of putting out a record with a lot of covers with vocals. Is limelight the way to go to cover the licensing?
Is there a difference if I make a few hundred physical cds versus just releasing a download package and put it on a website?

Re: dwlby
OK. I recommend that you turn the guitars up in the mix ( e.g. clockwise ), so they stand out a bit. I would like to play guitar on your next album, if you need guitar on it. The tunes I listened to were OK, but no guitar. Potential for good backing tracks. As an aside, the entire new DWLB album was...

Enjoying vhs
The key is hi-fi, I don't need a video input, just use the rca audio in/out jacks, and have to use the remote to select the proper inputs (there are rf, rear rca, and front rca), and to use hi-fi mode.
I also use SVHS ET and SP mode, 2 hours of audio per tape is good for me.

JVC SVHS recorder
Originally designed for use with TV. Uses Hi-Fi mode, for recording audio on the whole tape. Can use SVHS tapes which have an extra hole in them, or can use regular VHS tapes by just pressing a button. It's called "ET" mode, which probably isn't as good as using an SVHS tape, but still sounds awesom...
