Thanks Corey, good point! I should probably throw 30 or so songs I've recorded on a disc, mail it to my buddy in California (really one of the only people I trust to run my music across) and see what he thinks. And then ultimately choose the songs I enjoy playing the most. I just write so many tunes...

Okay, here's a question fellow Sonar 7 Producer users ... Excuse my ignorance as I have yet to really explore all of the capabilities of this software, but ... Matt Mahaffey of Self (Needs to be interviewed)

I am hoping some other Tape Op'ers will chime in here. If you haven't heard of him, Tennessee native Matt Mahaffey is a very talented multi-instrumentalist who has produced a number of albums under the band name 'Self'. He signed to Dreamworks awhile back, eventually got dropped, and now lives in LA...

I swear to God this changes like ... every other day - and I will leave off obvious (to me at least) albums like Stevie Wonder's 'Talking Book', The Beatles 'White Album', all Zeppelin records and Neil Young's 'Harvest' because I'm sure they have all been listed so far ... (though those albums reall...

I don't even remember if I posted on this already ... so I may be reiterating (sp?) here, but definitely PHISH. I recall a point in time in which I argued the superior musicianship of Trey Anastasio, John Fishman, Mike Gordon and Page McConnell (oh my God I even remember their fucking names!) vs. th...

Blue Springs, Missouri !!! (I live five minutes outside of Blue Springs) My girlfriend knew David in college, said he's a really nice guy. He was a front man for an indie-rock band too, and his brother I guess was the drummer or guitar player or something and dared him to enter the contest. Anyways,...
