I have an external drive with a ton of audio files on it, nearly 100GB. For some reason, the drive only shows up every now and then as a usable drive. I am sort of bummed that Apple dropped Firewire 800. That would have made for a nice Apogee AD16 and Apple Powerbook pro combination.
