backdoor.blarul and Reason.exe WTF??
Ok, so I don't know how many of you use Reason. But Beware. I started getting these weird return mail emails for things I didn't send. So I thought shit i got a virus. So I ran Norton overnight. This morning it told me I had three virus files. Infecting reason.exe recycle.exe and refil packer.exe No...

So, anyone a privleged reviewer?
I only ask cause I just heard aboot a new "high end" line of mackie mixer...
And thought maybe someone here had the fortune (or misfortune) of checking
them out in a review or prototype senario.
I am refering to the new "ONYX" mixers.

This isn't quite what you had described but I think that its in the right direction. Distributes weight around the waist.

Re: Video Production on Pro Tools?
Pro Tools works wonders for audio post. However, I myself have had nightmares getting the video window the right size. For the most part your going to have to play with the resolution/compression and size. It seems different for every computer. Probably has something to do with RAM. For me the mediu...

Re: witnessing a recording session
What about Mothers of Invention. "Hot Rats", or "Freak Out"
Or at least at the Zappa session for the song "Sleep Dirt"
But MOST of all Zappa's "Yellow Shark"
plus watching the Dust Brothers work on anything.

Re: live looping
I've been using LIVE for about 4 months. Mostly for getting some arrangements down quickly. None the less absolutely no errors, crashes, etc. none. And I've really tried. loading 90+ loops about 10secs each and it still played. Video got a little phreaky but...

Re: Fear and loathing
IMO the fear we experience may not really have anything to do with the loss of the pioneer additude. From previous posts I've read much of it revolves around appearances. Such as (forgive I can't remember who said it) "The worst thing you can tell a client is ""I don't know or I can't"" And as far a...

Re: College radio near you
KRTU 91.7FM Trinity University Radio (even though its funded mostly buy the DJ's parents)
And KSYM 90.1 FM San Antonio College Radio. (Publicly Funded) has a little more punk to it. Maybe a little too much.
KRTU has a better altervative scene after 10pm

Anybody ever used these?
I was searching for pop filters and came across this.
http://www.transaudiodirect.com/abpaulsup.html
Has anybody ever used these. Are they worth it.
Also, does anybody sell anything else like the Royer Metal Pop Filter? Maybe cheaper?
