If anyone finds a video cap on the internet of the halftime show. Please post a link. I didn't watch the superbowl or the halftime show so I missed it.

Covers on album question
I want to put a few songs that are covers, but I plan on charging like a dollar or two only to cover costs of manufacturing/shipping. Since I am making no profit from this would I still have to legally be responsible for royalties or anything like that? I'm not worried about it because I won't be se...

Critique new song - Droopy Face
I am pretty impressed with the quality of my latest song. The only problem that I feel arises with the mix, is for my retarded break from the song. My friend who sung it, distorted the signal and along with the retarded break it really doesn't fit, but that's the beauty of this song. Tell me what yo...

Re: HSayz: the Return of the Lo-Fi
Some people perfer the "warmth" of a lo-fi recording. To some, digital can sound artificial at times. But lo-fi isn't just about a style of recording, it's about the principles of indie-rock. You could say that with the increase of digital music, there's also been a change in indie-rock to become m...

Re: HSayz: the Return of the Lo-Fi
lo-fi is kinda stupid to me considering we are in the age of digital. Why make things sound lo-fi on purpose when you can make them sound halfway decent? Lo-fi isn't a type of music, it's what the recording sounds like due to recording restrictions. I guess i'm not into the layer 400 things with di...

I'd rather be sleeping than working and then going to class and studying for calc II and studying for Chem I and then doing a programming assignment

Re: Getting a gig at some crap venue bar place
clearly you are not from new jersey. coast = somewhere not near new jersey shore = anywhere near where the atlantic meets new jersey also, to get to the shore you go "down to" it. or simply "down" as in "i am going down the shore". jeez, you'll never get gigs at the shore if you dont speak correctl...

shore- the land along the edge of a body of water
coast - seashore: the shore of a sea or ocean

Re: Getting a gig at some crap venue bar place
i would go in and talk to the manager, or who ever is in charge of booking bands, tell them about your band and give them a cd. I think its always better to go in and actually talk to someone, make sure they know who you are and so that you know they got ur cd. Plus it will make you look sorta prof...

Getting a gig at some crap venue bar place
I am in the process of getting a band together, as it is right now it's just me and a drummer, so this is for whenever it happens. I'm on the jersey coast, so there are a few dumps that I could perspectively play at. The problem is I don't know how to go about getting booked at these crap holes. The...

Re: Artistic aliases
I'm thinking of using an alias for crap I do. Pat Aslin doesn't have much to a ring to it. And it's more fun to use a silly name I think.
