I think the sony dj headphones that are being talked about are the Sony MDRV700. They're cool for tracking drums eventhough they aren't completely enclosed around the ear. sony mdr-v900 is what im using right now, and let me tell you, they have a big drivers and hyped low end. highly recommended for your taste.

I gentlemen am also the proud owner of an RP-115, which is kind of rare actually. And the phaser is perfect. I love this amp. Such a nice clean amp. The best thing about these amps is that they're pretty reliable. More people need to be converted.
