Re: Storm Brewing Over TapeOp Subscription Policy?
yeah, it takes less to say no than it does to pay. it's worth it. although i would pay if it were monthly, and was as good as it always is every month.

Re: cool edit 2
hmm. that's interesting. i guess this is because of adobe's video/graphical editing softs, along with CEP's ability to do limited video with audio, bringing the two together. audacity huh? where can i get this? i've got pro tools free, but don't really like the way it's setup, i tried it on this com...

cool edit 2
hey I'm about to buy a Pentium 3 computerwith 512MB RAm, and a @nd HD to fix the little 10G one in it, well not fix it, but to add to it. my question is this. can Cool Edit Pro 2 take a stereo signal, and change it into 2 tracks? I won't be able to get a decent Sound card w/ breakout box for a while...

Re: Overdrive Pedals
DOD FX%! JUICE BOX and Danelectro Daddy-O Overdrive are my two favorite OD pedals. i never was a big fan of the tubescreamer. not enough...umphh, and sounds funny. oh well. shoot me if you want about the Dano pedal, i payed $30 for it, and it sounds better than a tube screamer.

Re: Clear Channel CEO on Fresh Air!
KNON rocks! i remember staying up late at night to catch the hideous couch. is that show still on? okay clear channel radio station somehwere here in the US DID NOT cover a local train wreck wich spilled out some chemical that created a noxious fume. Re: live drum & bass
listeing to kepler's conjecture right now. seems pretty cool, im not into drum n bass all that much but i like this. it's different than just throwing a beat on a drum machine and doing some bass samples. it's nice. still very synchronized, but it's cool.

i really dig without you, it sounds like a really good song. but sullivan street is a little distorted for my tastes, but still a nice song. sounds like a good mix too.

Re: buuying a G3

buuying a G3
a friend of mine is getting ready to sell his G3, and has offered to sell it to me CPU, mouse, monitor, keyboard and Os10.2 for $850, but i also want to buy an eight track r-t-r machine. i could always use his studio for my d/a conversions. would you go for the G3 or the R-t-R? i want the reel machi...

Re: What do you think of these drum levels?
imho, a lot of the harder hits (i.e.hi hats, snare, bass drum) are overpowering the rest of the tracks. it sounds like my four track when i'm recording drums. it seems like its mainly hi hats and BD though. if you could lower those some, then it would be good. it's just not letting anything else out...
