He was one of the groups I mixed when I moved back down south. I think maybe 3 differnt gigs. Great man, way easier to work with than I thought he’d be, had tone for days, band was rockin!

Neil was great, I got to play with him for two days in NYC, he was really a great person, said if Rush hadn’t taken off he’d be in a Zep cover band. I laughed, he was serious, then he played some Bonham and nailed the shit out of it! I was like “dude, you could totally do that”.

I moved to touring and tv/film location audio, music on weekends, “hustling” is the answer.
My kids are now working or in college. Stay away from drugs and booze if you wanna afford their college and your retirement, unless you have a trustfund, and I have no advice for that.

Sound devices 10 input interface, wA273eq, Wa87, Watb12, DBX 376 and its not a starved plate at 200volts so 8 have a bunch of old 12au7’s from an old tube lathe preamp that I’m gonna switch out.

Better keep the power supply filter caps as electrolytics, up the temp rating, up the value to double, put little .01 film across ?em, but, that?s just power, not signal, cleaner (more filtered, = less ripple, ripple is bad). It?ll make you happy.
